Requirements

- Ability to follow structured procedures, runbooks, and operational workflows with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and escalation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 shift-based operational environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple alerts and tasks.
- Willingness to learn infrastructure, networking, and data center operations.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of networking or server hardware concepts is beneficial.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability when handling incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor infrastructure systems using dashboards and alerting tools to detect, validate, and respond to incidents.
- Triage alerts across compute, networking, and hardware systems, filtering false positives based on defined procedures.
- Follow structured runbooks to perform initial diagnostics and validation steps during incidents.
- Escalate issues to appropriate engineering teams (hardware, network, SRE) according to established escalation paths.
- Create, update, and manage incident tickets with accurate logs, diagnostics, and status updates.
- Coordinate communication during active incidents, ensuring stakeholders are informed in a timely manner.
- Identify recurring issues or patterns and report them to improve system reliability and monitoring.
- Maintain situational awareness of system health and ongoing incidents during assigned shifts.
