Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in applied data science, economics, or product analytics.
  • Expertise in causal inference methods including quasi-experimentation, PSM, and Difference-in-Differences.
  • Expertise in advanced A/B testing methodologies and variance reduction techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Postgres).
  • Experience with data transformation and workflow management tools (dbt, Airflow, or Databricks) is a plus.
  • Proven record of influencing cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change management.
  • B.A. or B.S. in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, CS).
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Experimentation Roadmap to measure business impact across customer workflows and churn risk.
  • Design and analyze complex A/B, multivariate, and Bayesian experiments.
  • Apply causal inference techniques like difference-in-differences and instrumental variables.
  • Define and govern a unified KPI framework mapping product health to business outcomes.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to build scalable, self-serve experimentation tooling.
  • Translate statistical findings into compelling business narratives for senior leadership.
  • Mentor and train junior and mid-level data scientists.
