Requirements
- 15+ years of discipline-specific experience in AEC or related professional services
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree (MS or equivalent) a plus
- Prior experience as a senior engineer, Project Lead, or subject matter expert
- Strong understanding of discipline-specific design, cross-discipline coordination, and QA/QC practices
- Proven ability to lead discipline direction and drive consistency in workflows
- Demonstrated capability in mentoring senior engineers and developing scalable systems
- Strong skills in GitHub documentation and systems thinking
- PE license strongly preferred
- CDT certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain discipline standards, templates, and documentation in GitHub
- Lead discipline training journeys and mentor engineers/production staff
- Conduct peer reviews and deep dives on high-risk projects
- Partner with project and group leads to align discipline initiatives with delivery goals
- Author documentation and Pull Requests to improve clarity and reduce rework
- Provide technical guidance on design challenges and code interpretations
- Support strategic pursuits, fee strategy, and technical positioning
