Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an SDET, test infrastructure engineer, or software engineer with a deep testing focus.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems like CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
- Production-level proficiency in at least one backend language, ideally Elixir.
- Root-cause mindset to identify and fix non-determinism in test suites.
- Fluency with unit and integration testing patterns at service boundaries.
- Experience building internal tooling or dashboards for engineering teams.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and technical proposals.
Responsibilities
- Own the stability and performance of CI across our frontend and backend repositories.
- Hunt down flakiness and build tooling to make it visible and attributable.
- Establish Elixir unit and integration testing patterns and reference implementations.
- Optimize pipeline performance through parallelization, caching, and test ordering.
- Build developer-facing tooling and dashboards for CI health and test metrics.
- Contribute to release readiness and define deployment criteria.
- Implement AI-assisted test generation and spec-driven development workflows.
- Partner with QA to integrate end-to-end tests into pre-deployment pipelines.
