Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Education, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years’ sales experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in the education marketplace (preferred).
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or CRM technology (preferred).
  • Thorough understanding of negotiating techniques.
  • Strong prospecting, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude for delivering engaging presentations.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
  • Find and close new sales opportunities while growing and renewing established client partnerships.
  • Lead consultative discussions with prospective and existing clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for prospective and established clients.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with K-12 districts, state agencies, and educational organizations.
  • Create a path-to-goal strategy for the assigned region.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Travel frequently to prospect and deliver presentations for small and large customer groups.
