Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Education, Marketing or related field.
- 5+ years’ sales experience.
- 3 years’ experience in the education marketplace (preferred).
- Experience utilizing Salesforce or CRM technology (preferred).
- Thorough understanding of negotiating techniques.
- Strong prospecting, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for delivering engaging presentations.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
- Find and close new sales opportunities while growing and renewing established client partnerships.
- Lead consultative discussions with prospective and existing clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for prospective and established clients.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with K-12 districts, state agencies, and educational organizations.
- Create a path-to-goal strategy for the assigned region.
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators.
- Travel frequently to prospect and deliver presentations for small and large customer groups.
