Requirements

  • English is your primary language
  • At least 1 year of experience providing live chat customer support for a software/SaaS platform
  • 2+ years in customer support role
  • Ability to translate technical ideas for non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrable critical thinking, communication, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new software platforms quickly
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects
  • Familiarity with chat and CRM platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries and issues via online chat, email, and phone calls
  • Clarify the customer’s needs, determine the cause, select and explain the best solution, then follow-up
  • Ensure customers are responsible texters through compliance monitoring
  • Participate in writing excellent help documentation for internal and customer use
  • Escalate bugs to the customer technical support team
  • Work on specialized projects
  • Develop deep product knowledge as a SimpleTexting power user
