Requirements
- English is your primary language
- At least 1 year of experience providing live chat customer support for a software/SaaS platform
- 2+ years in customer support role
- Ability to translate technical ideas for non-technical audiences
- Demonstrable critical thinking, communication, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new software platforms quickly
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects
- Familiarity with chat and CRM platforms
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and issues via online chat, email, and phone calls
- Clarify the customer’s needs, determine the cause, select and explain the best solution, then follow-up
- Ensure customers are responsible texters through compliance monitoring
- Participate in writing excellent help documentation for internal and customer use
- Escalate bugs to the customer technical support team
- Work on specialized projects
- Develop deep product knowledge as a SimpleTexting power user
