Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 8+ years of directly related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience at an AM Law 100 firm.
- 4+ years of experience as in-house counsel.
- Extensive experience with reviewing and drafting CDA, MSA, and SOW agreements.
- Must be admitted to practice or have Bar membership in the state of residence.
- Sound legal and business judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, negotiate, and manage domestic and international contracts.
- Draft entire contracts and contract language de novo to address business and legal issues.
- Identify and define legal issues and business risks for internal decision-makers.
- Serve as legal contracts representative for cross-functional departments including Manufacturing, Regulatory, IT, and HR.
- Train and guide business teams on contract templates and good contracting practices.
- Assist in developing and implementing Legal Department contracting policies and procedures.
- Manage and enhance the company’s contract management system.
- Provide legal due diligence and contracting support.
