Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years of direct people management experience
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Experience with modern accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Demonstrated experience improving processes and scaling accounting operations
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
- Own revenue accounting for subscription and usage-based SaaS models and review contracts under ASC 606.
- Directly manage, develop, and coach a team of accounting professionals.
- Evaluate and enhance accounting workflows to support scalability and efficiency.
- Prepare audit schedules and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.
- Support FP&A with actuals, variance analysis, and budgeting inputs.
