Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or mental health related field.
- Relevant certifications (Certified Peer Specialist).
- 2nd year Master's students preferred.
- Experience working with young adults and adolescents preferred.
- 1+ years experience in mental health peer support, mentor, or skills trainer preferred.
- Must reside in Oregon.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Available for 10-28 hours per week.
- Proficiency with Slack, Dropbox, Gmail, Zoom, Google Drive, and EMR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets.
Responsibilities
- Engages Charlie Health clients in 1:1 peer discussions via secure platforms.
- Ensures clients are aligned in their treatment goals and attending programming.
- Provides skill-based interventions aimed at stabilizing clients during stress.
- Provides risk screenings and safety planning.
- Escalates to crisis clinicians as indicated.
- Maintains engagement throughout treatment.
