Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of work experience in voluntary benefits insurance or brokerage
  • Proven track record closing opportunities with large clients
  • Experience in account management for core benefit offerings
  • Life, Health & Accident licenses (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

  • Consult with sales teams and clients on the value of Businessolver's Agency offerings.
  • Manage Broker of Record (BOR) and Point Solution sales opportunities.
  • Engage with carriers to identify growth opportunities and optimize commissions.
  • Collaborate with carriers, brokers, and consultants for complex enterprise accounts.
  • Analyze voluntary benefit market trends and funding strategy options.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
