Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of foodservice or group purchasing sales experience.
- Demonstrated positive customer interfacing and issue resolution experience.
- Experience in delivering positive change management.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, and business maturity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Oversee business of major GPO relationships and coordinate with internal sales teams to ensure growth and retention.
- Build annual strategy plans by market, focusing on AE training and performance monitoring.
- Conduct quarterly GPO checklist reviews to monitor performance against commitments.
- Engage regional staff to execute service protocols and resolve concerns.
- Analyze retention reports, dashboards, and metrics to proactively address service issues.
- Review and resolve Save Our Sales (SOS) submissions weekly.
- Monitor GPO contractual expectations and drive program growth objectives.
- Train and develop field personnel responsible for GPO business.
