Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of foodservice or group purchasing sales experience.
  • Demonstrated positive customer interfacing and issue resolution experience.
  • Experience in delivering positive change management.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and business maturity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee business of major GPO relationships and coordinate with internal sales teams to ensure growth and retention.
  • Build annual strategy plans by market, focusing on AE training and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct quarterly GPO checklist reviews to monitor performance against commitments.
  • Engage regional staff to execute service protocols and resolve concerns.
  • Analyze retention reports, dashboards, and metrics to proactively address service issues.
  • Review and resolve Save Our Sales (SOS) submissions weekly.
  • Monitor GPO contractual expectations and drive program growth objectives.
  • Train and develop field personnel responsible for GPO business.
