Requirements
- 5+ years in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or comparable role.
- 2+ years managing or leading a technical pre-sales team.
- Proven success in open-source, developer-tools, or infrastructure companies.
- Hands-on experience in distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and containers.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a team of Solutions Architects.
- Establish clear performance expectations and career development paths.
- Partner with Sales leadership to build and execute comprehensive account strategies.
- Drive defined processes for technical discovery and deal support.
- Guide team in positioning Temporal against competing technologies.
- Maintain hands-on understanding of Temporal’s product and roadmap.
- Act as a voice of the customer back into Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
