Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related technical field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
- 10 years in an executive role within the energy or energy infrastructure sectors.
- Experience in grid modernization, energy storage solutions, and advanced monitoring/control technologies.
- 10 years of experience with complex decentralized energy systems (e.g., microgrids, on-site/behind-the-meter projects).
- Experience with power infrastructure for critical facilities like data centers or industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success with energy technologies including fuel cells and thermal generation.
- Familiarity with BESS/DER controls, data science for forecasting, and cloud-based software infrastructure.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s overall technology vision and strategic direction.
- Evaluate technologies to enhance energy generation, grid reliability, and cost savings.
- Analyze market trends and technical advancements from a techno-economic perspective.
- Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies and manage key supplier partnerships.
- Oversee product development and launch of software and hardware solutions.
- Lead technical risk management and implement cybersecurity strategies.
- Foster partnerships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Support business development through direct client engagement.
- Hire, develop, and lead high-performing technical teams.
