Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Tamil and English
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant job or industry
- Deep familiarity with the cultural and political climates in India
- Experience working remotely and within multicultural teams (preferred)
- Experience with content moderation, content review, curation, or similar roles (preferred)
- Comfortable working with Google Suite, spreadsheets, and other data management tools
- Strong understanding of digital streaming products and video ecosystems
- Strong familiarity with pop culture, social media trends, memes, music, gaming, and film
- Familiarity with popular social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and Clubhouse
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partnerships to deliver editorial feedback and research on video content
- Review video content to ensure compliance with provided guidelines
- Identify patterns or trends in video content, adhering to client guidelines
- Evaluate and assess the assigned number of videos required to meet daily deliverables
- Apply a keen awareness of the cultural and political climate to all work
- Determine if videos meet the set criteria for the client’s goals
- Participate in and encourage the growth of 1021’s culture
- Handle special projects as needed
- Work occasional holidays
