Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Exposure to U.S.-based clients and accounting standards.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Advanced Excel functions for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Accounting CS or similar payroll/accounting software.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads and recurring monthly close cycles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily categorization and data entry across a high volume of client accounts.
  • Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet reports.
  • Manage sales tax calculations and filings for Florida and New York.
  • Process payroll and related tax filings using Accounting CS software.
  • Support month-end close activities across multiple clients with strict deadlines.
