Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Security Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS in production environments and modern cloud architecture patterns.
  • Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production, including operational and security responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Deep understanding of system hardening, vulnerability management, patching, and secure configuration standards.
  • Experience supporting compliance frameworks, audits, and security control validation (e.g., SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001 or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of IAM, network security, secrets management, logging, and monitoring systems.
  • Experience administering Linux and Windows environments in production.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in complex distributed systems and production incidents.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS, ensuring high availability and operational resilience across production environments.
  • Manage and improve Kubernetes-based platforms, including cluster security, workload reliability, and performance optimization in production settings.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, enabling repeatable, secure, and version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
  • Harden systems across compute, network, identity, and container layers, ensuring consistent security baselines and compliance alignment.
  • Support vulnerability management, patching, remediation, and configuration compliance across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve CI/CD security, deployment workflows, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Contribute to compliance initiatives including audits, control validation, documentation, and evidence collection.
  • Develop operational runbooks, security playbooks, and technical documentation to improve system maintainability and team readiness.
