- 1+ years' experience is strongly preferred
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree.
- Valid Pharmacist license (specifically Florida licensed).
- Deep knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify barriers to medication adherence.
- Experience with specialty disease states (Oncology, Transplant, etc.) preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC, QS1, or WILLOW software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret patient clinical data for prior authorization approvals.
- Develop clinical protocols to promote evidence-based, cost-effective care.
- Monitor patient adherence using PDC reports, mobile app data, and clinical assessments.
- Evaluate EMR data for drug interactions, labs, and medication synchronization.
- Provide medication therapy management (MTM) and clinical consultation.
- Oversee pharmacy technician activities and verify accuracy of clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and state pharmacy board regulations.
