Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Experience with general ledger systems, chart of accounts, and functional allocation.
- Proficiency in accounting research, analysis, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing professional staff and subordinate managers.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of normal schedule.
- Fluency in English (required for resume/CV submission).
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, planning and consultation to subordinates, executives, and peer management.
- Contributes to or prepares and administers the annual budget and departmental expenses.
- Selects, manages and develops assigned staff.
- Leads professional staff to serve internal customers and explain accounting principles.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on the organization’s financial general ledger system.
- Oversees professional accountants maintaining monthly/annual financials and close processes.
- Leads accountants analyzing financial activity for errors and making corrections.
- Manages accountants preparing and distributing financial statement reports.
