- Previous experience using Gusto and QuickBooks
- CPA Certification preferred
- Excel proficiency and experience working in shared spreadsheets
- Experience working in Wealth Management companies
- Previous experience working for a U.S. Financial company
- Experience in commission calculations and reconciling
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance (GAAP/IFRS, tax, audits)
- Previous experience reporting account summaries
- Prior experience in Tax Reduction Strategies
- Willingness to complete a background check requiring fingerprinting
Responsibilities
- Manage core accounting operations independently
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closes
- Maintain financial data for leadership decision making
- Perform day-to-day accounting execution
- Handle reconciliations and financial reporting
- Process payroll
- Execute commission calculations tied to assets under management
