Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience with month-end accounting processes and financial record maintenance
- Experience preparing accruals, prepayments, and amortisation journals
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Strong time management skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reports
- Manage and maintain the general ledger in NetSuite
- Post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
- Support monthly and year-end close processes
- Oversee AP/AR functions
- Prepare and assist in lodgement of BAS, GST, PAYG
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisors
