Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, including production-scale fullstack applications.
- Proficiency in React.js or a comparable framework.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture and patterns (component design, state management, routing).
- Experience with modern web tooling (Webpack/Vite, npm/yarn) and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- Experience integrating with backend services and APIs (REST/JSON, GraphQL).
- Experience designing/building backend services in a modern server-side language (Go, Java).
- Experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS) and Docker.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools in the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality fullstack systems and experiences.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features across the stack: from early technical design and prototyping through implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing iteration.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to deliver intuitive, performant, and accessible fullstack experiences.
- Optimize fullstack applications and services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Champion best practices in architecture, usability, security, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Use and evaluate AI tools to expedite daily workflows and improve development speed/quality.
- Conduct constructive peer design/code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert who mentors fellow engineers and leads teams.
