Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Track record of building and scaling web applications in production.
- Experience leading high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery.
- Ability to navigate trade-offs and align stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Strong grasp of functional and object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems.
- Passion for code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale robust systems within an autonomous, cross-functional team.
- Drive patient starts through strategic collaborations with payers, providers, and health systems.
- Build software that expands addressable population and enables seamless access to care.
- Close the loop with partners’ care teams to position Rula as a strategic partner.
- Lead critical technical initiatives for emerging growth areas including Government and Employers.
- Foster a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews and mentoring.
- Align stakeholders and navigate trade-offs on high-priority technical projects.
