Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience as a medical assistant
- Understanding of medical terminology and psychiatric medication workflows
- Experience with EHR systems
- Comfortable with virtual patient platforms and communication software
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patient calls and portal messages.
- Submit and track prior authorizations for psychiatric medications.
- Verify insurance eligibility and resolve coverage issues.
- Coordinate prescription refills with pharmacies.
- Schedule appointments and maintain provider calendars.
- Maintain documentation in electronic health records.
