Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of recent Federal Market sales experience selling advanced technology solutions OR recent experience in a technical capacity within the Federal Government.
- Proven track record in solution/consultative selling.
- Demonstrated experience in account development and driving revenue and gross profit growth.
- Strong ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- High level of responsiveness to internal and external communications.
- Experience engaging with customer, departmental, and executive staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to absorb and understand technical information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Engage with DoD, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian agencies to uncover sales opportunities.
- Structure and position deals for success by driving funding, contracting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct market research and independent prospecting to develop new sales opportunities.
- Network and build brand presence with industry OEMs, consultants, and value-added resellers.
- Routinely participate in sales, industry, and OEM-specific training.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline and reporting metrics.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and post-sales operations teams.
