Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of recent Federal Market sales experience selling advanced technology solutions OR recent experience in a technical capacity within the Federal Government.
  • Proven track record in solution/consultative selling.
  • Demonstrated experience in account development and driving revenue and gross profit growth.
  • Strong ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • High level of responsiveness to internal and external communications.
  • Experience engaging with customer, departmental, and executive staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to absorb and understand technical information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Engage with DoD, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian agencies to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Structure and position deals for success by driving funding, contracting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct market research and independent prospecting to develop new sales opportunities.
  • Network and build brand presence with industry OEMs, consultants, and value-added resellers.
  • Routinely participate in sales, industry, and OEM-specific training.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline and reporting metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and post-sales operations teams.
