Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, or data infrastructure roles.
- Experience leading teams.
- Experience defining and executing data platform strategy in a cloud environment.
- Strong experience building and operating data platforms using AWS technologies.
- Strong experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks.
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
- Experience integrating data from enterprise business systems (Salesforce, Finance, Customer Success).
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (strong plus).
- Experience supporting analytics, BI, data science, or AI/ML teams.
Responsibilities
- Define vision, roadmap, and operating model for data platform.
- Build, lead, and develop the data platforms team.
- Define strategic OKRs for the data platform organization.
- Establish data governance framework, lineage, and access controls.
- Design and evolve cloud data platform using AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda).
- Oversee development and reliability of data pipelines.
- Lead creation of curated datasets for ML and reporting.
- Ensure data infrastructure supports AI/ML initiatives.
- Integrate enterprise systems like Salesforce and finance platforms.
- Establish monitoring for data quality and pipeline reliability.
