Responsibilities
- Screen patients for eligibility of State and Federal programs
- Identify patient needs and assist with applications for assistance
- Initiate application processes and advise patients on program benefits
- Provide instructions for securing program benefits and ensure deadlines are met
- Record clear and accurate documentation in the CUBS system
- Maintain positive relationships with patients and government agencies
- Assess application status and follow up on accounts until resolution
