Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 8 years experience or Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years experience.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Prior US Government contract experience with Design & Development programs (CPIF, CPFF, FFP).
- Experience interpreting FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and other applicable U.S. Government regulations.
- Experience preparing and negotiating proposals, contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing structures.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
- Implement strategies to improve acquisition timelines and customer pace.
- Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters.
- Provide strategic advice on contractual rights, obligations, regulations, and policy.
- Review proposals to ensure they meet customer requirements and represent a balanced risk posture.
- Develop pre-negotiation objectives and implement negotiation strategy reviews.
- Advise Program Management Office and Government on changes to contract requirements.
