Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience in program, project management, and/or localization.
- Demonstrated experience in crafting localization strategy and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with and managing localization and linguistics vendors.
- Mastery of Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.
- Proficiency in machine translation and content management systems.
- Mastery of at least one product line or program and multiple product functions.
- Strong operational, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and present plans to diverse audiences.
- Experience driving results in a highly cross-functional setting.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and execute Turnitin’s end-to-end localization strategy.
- Manage project planning cycles, define processes, and coordinate stakeholders.
- Oversee localization workflows from initiation to launch.
- Establish and ensure high-quality localization standards and linguistic validation.
- Build and scale key assets including glossaries, style guides, and AI-ready datasets.
- Oversee vendor evaluations, budget tracking, and vendor quality management.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, and UX teams to optimize workflows.
- Serve as a change agent for process and continuous improvement.
