Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- SaaS industry experience is essential.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606.
- Hands-on experience with US multi-state sales tax compliance.
- Experience leading or supporting an external audit.
- Comfortable as the senior accounting person in a lean environment.
- Experience with modern SaaS finance stacks (Campfire, NetSuite, Rippling, Brex, Tipalti).
- Interest in or hands-on use of AI tools for finance workflows.
- Excellent written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Run full month-end close process for US & Canadian entities.
- Manage end-to-end US & Canadian payroll processing via Rippling.
- Own multi-state sales tax compliance via Anrok.
- Serve as primary point of contact for external tax preparers.
- Lead US side of annual audit.
- Apply ASC 606 to SaaS revenue streams.
- Manage 1099 reporting, state annual filings, and business licenses.
- Provide analysis to FP&A for budgeting and forecasting.
- Engineer AI-driven improvements for accounting workflows.
