Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven success selling service products, preferably pumps or rotating equipment
- Working knowledge of pump systems, controls, operation, installation, and maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver technical product training and presentations
- Willingness to travel up to 130 days per year
Responsibilities
- Drive service sales growth by calling on targeted professional end-users and distributors
- Build and manage strong relationships with key decision makers at existing and target accounts
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans
- Conduct product training sessions to increase the contracting community's awareness
- Analyze market positioning of products and services to recommend optimal pricing strategies
- Stay current on service industry trends and competitive conditions
