Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent (LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in Ohio.
  • Open to dependently licensed therapists.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience providing therapy to individuals with SUD.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions within the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for patients with substance use disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT, MI, and DBT.
  • Collaborate with clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans.
  • Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care.
  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.
  • Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and care for marginalized populations.
  • Educate patients and families on SUD and co-occurring disorders.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings.
