Requirements
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent (LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in Ohio.
- Open to dependently licensed therapists.
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing therapy to individuals with SUD.
- Minimum of 1 year experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting.
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions within the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for patients with substance use disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT, MI, and DBT.
- Collaborate with clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans.
- Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care.
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.
- Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and care for marginalized populations.
- Educate patients and families on SUD and co-occurring disorders.
- Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings.
