Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Previous commercial or sales experience within CDMO, CRO, biotech, or life sciences industries, particularly in discovery-related services.
  • Strong understanding of biologics, antibody discovery, bioassays, cell line development, or related scientific applications.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships, negotiate opportunities, and drive business growth in a competitive market.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience operating within international business environments and collaborating across multicultural teams.
  • Ability to manage sales pipelines, maintain accurate forecasting, and prioritize multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently within a remote and travel-oriented role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory to support customer engagement and business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand the assigned European territory for discovery-focused life science and CDMO service offerings while achieving defined sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, academic, and government customers to identify new business opportunities and support long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and regional leadership teams to implement territory strategies and promote discovery service capabilities effectively.
  • Manage customer accounts, quotations, lead follow-up activities, and contract discussions while maintaining a high level of client engagement.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and scientific discussions to understand research needs and align tailored solutions with client objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to support strategic planning and market expansion initiatives.
  • Contribute to business development efforts for new applications, emerging markets, and specialized discovery services across the biotech landscape.
  • Provide regular forecasting, pipeline updates, and field insights to support commercial decision-making and operational planning.
