Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in mid-size brokerage or carrier.
- Fire and Casualty Broker License.
- Valid Driver License.
- Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty lines of coverage.
- Demonstrated experience with Agency Management Systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong interpersonal skills for client communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, and audit requests.
- Advise clients on policy coverage, exclusions, and contractual issues.
- Manage client account renewals including exposure analysis and market comparisons.
- Negotiate premium and commission rates with underwriters and wholesalers.
- Support the sales team with presentations, proposals, and prospect meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records in the Agency Management System.
- Coordinate with internal departments for employee benefits and private client needs.
