Requirements
- Experience shipping backend services in production
- Experience working with a modern JS/TS framework (Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte)
- Demonstrable ability to pick up unfamiliar technologies and ship real work
- Experience using AI tools as part of the engineering workflow
- Strong technical fundamentals
- Understanding of backend practices: logging, testing, documentation, and deployment hygiene
- Experience owning features or products end-to-end
Responsibilities
- Designing and shipping the first version of our fleet operations product
- Owning the work end-to-end: APIs, UI, deployment, monitoring, the on-call rotation
- Actually using AI tools as your main way of working (architecture exploration, testing, debugging, writing docs)
- Being open about what works and what doesn't to help the team learn
- Working closely with your PM, with customer outcomes in front of every decision
