Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data science or applied statistics roles.
- 3+ years focused on forecasting, time series modeling, or revenue/enrollment prediction.
- Hands-on proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, Prophet).
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Grounding in statistical and machine learning methods (hierarchical or panel forecasting, gradient boosting, GLMs).
- Experience designing and maintaining production data science systems (versioning, backtesting, monitoring).
- Ability to work with commercial data (CRM, marketing, product, financial).
- Experience translating business questions into technical problems.
- Proven experience influencing cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate Omada’s core enrollment forecasting engine for the existing book of business.
- Translate commercial planning questions into scalable forecasting solutions.
- Establish and own best practices for model development, backtesting, performance monitoring, and alerting.
- Improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness through experimentation.
- Act as the primary technical leader for forecasting within the Data organization.
- Mentor other data scientists who contribute to forecasting projects.
- Take ownership of technical implementation of base forecasting while collaborating on assumption frameworks.
