Requirements
- Strong experience in engineering and process management in an agile environment.
- Knowledge or certification of standards addressing quality of software artifacts (e.g., ISO/IEC 25010, ASPICE).
- Proven track record of mentoring and growing people and teams.
- Experience leading successful compliance and certification efforts.
- Solid understanding of stakeholder management in a regulated environment.
- Strong experience with Linux.
- Background as a software developer (preferred).
- Experience in establishing product engineering development metrics and KPIs (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to make Ubuntu suitable for automotive, aerospace, and industrial robotics.
- Define and implement continuous improvement processes and engineering standards.
- Establish qualification requirements for engineering quality.
- Develop methods and approaches for measuring engineering quality.
- Foster and challenge engineering culture across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams and engineering leadership.
- Represent the company in external working groups, committees, and with partners.
