Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience within healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, biopharma, or related industries.
- Proven expertise in market insights, competitive intelligence, forecasting, market sizing, and strategic analytics.
- Strong experience developing and managing complex forecasting models, TAM/SAM/SOM analyses, and opportunity assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into clear business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, reimbursement trends, regulatory environments, and market evolution.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align market intelligence with financial planning and strategic growth objectives.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics/reporting tools.
- Strong project leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide market intelligence initiatives, including market sizing, segmentation, forecasting, and opportunity analysis across products, customer segments, and geographies.
- Develop forward-looking market models and forecasting frameworks to support strategic planning, product roadmap decisions, revenue planning, and portfolio prioritization.
- Conduct in-depth competitive intelligence and benchmarking analyses, including competitor positioning, pricing strategies, market activity, technology trends, and pipeline assessments.
- Build scenario models to evaluate the impact of market shifts, regulatory changes, reimbursement dynamics, pricing trends, and emerging technologies.
- Partner with product management, finance, sales, marketing, and executive leadership teams to deliver actionable insights that support strategic growth and investment decisions.
- Identify emerging trends, unmet market needs, customer adoption barriers, and whitespace opportunities through quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Support strategic initiatives related to product lifecycle management, new product ideation, M&A evaluations, partnerships, and innovation opportunities.
- Translate complex data and analytical findings into executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations that inform high-level decision-making.
- Ensure consistency, transparency, and analytical rigor across all market models, research methodologies, and insights delivered to stakeholders.
- Leverage internal and external datasets to develop scalable and repeatable analytics processes that improve business intelligence capabilities.
