Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or solutions design roles.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, warehouse design, and logistics optimization.
- Experience with automation technologies such as conveyor systems, ASRS, AMR, AGV, robotics, and related control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex operational data and translate it into practical solution designs.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and software platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% depending on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end RFP response process, including discovery, solution design, and proposal development.
- Develop winning solution strategies that address client pain points and align with commercial and operational objectives.
- Design innovative, “game-changing” supply chain solutions that improve cost, service, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to assess client operations and build data-driven solution frameworks.
- Conduct early-stage automation fit analysis and develop conceptual designs across technologies such as ASRS, AMR, AGV, robotics, and WCS/WES systems.
- Review engineered solutions, labor standards, and cost models to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and optimization opportunities.
- Lead internal and external collaboration sessions to refine scope, pricing, and solution alignment.
- Oversee updates to solution designs, layouts, and documentation to reflect scope changes and improvements.
- Provide guidance during implementation to ensure alignment between designed solutions and execution.
- Mentor and develop Solutions Design Engineers, fostering team capability and performance growth.
