Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles within the ecommerce, SaaS, or fintech sectors.
- Experience in consumer, SMB, and mid-market business models, preferably with knowledge of advertising, social media, ecommerce, analytics, and Martech stacks.
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships that drive revenue and customer value.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex partnership agreements.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, open to feedback, and willing to challenge conventions while taking thoughtful risks.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and investments is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Support WooCommerce’s leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive Partner Program that is competitive and attractive to partners, and aligned with market and business needs.
- Identify and assess strategic partnerships that increase the adoption of Woo, generate revenue, and strengthen our product offering.
- Negotiate comprehensive agreements across multiple categories with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners.
- Establish, nurture, and mature relationships with existing and new key partners (Fortune 100 companies) to drive mutual growth and success.
- Monitor and optimize program performance, using analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the partner ecosystem.
- Design processes that enable the team to scale, from standardizing common deals to implementing reporting on metrics that track the progress against our goals.
