Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience managing multiple workstreams with limited supervision.
  • Experience in programmatic and partnership development.
  • Proven track record of taking initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment skills for decision-making with incomplete information.
  • Comfort working with data and ability to translate findings into clear outputs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to build/maintain systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the organization externally with professionalism.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience or familiarity with maternal/child health, early childhood policy, or cash-transfer programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct county-level research and synthesize data on poverty, birth rates, and public health metrics.
  • Map and identify stakeholders in new states aligned with maternal and child health goals.
  • Maintain a multi-state pipeline and build briefing materials/workplans for partnerships.
  • Draft concept notes, funder briefs, and proposals in coordination with leadership.
  • Support operational planning including staffing, marketing, and program design for new sites.
  • Lead identification and onboarding of local community partners.
  • Oversee hiring for site-level associates and serve as a bridge for on-the-ground staff.
  • Lead technology platform configuration and process adaptation for new sites.
  • Manage budgets, workplans, and timelines for active expansion efforts.
  • Support the execution and negotiation of data sharing, grant, and partnership agreements.
