Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience leading end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience working with remote, geographically distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading discovery, ideation, and user research sessions.
- Hands-on experience with design systems, including components and tokens.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, specifically component libraries and Variables.
- Familiarity with token architecture and engineering implementation.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring junior designers.
- Familiarity with or interest in AI-powered design tools.
- Comfortable working in a culture of feedback and navigating conflict.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create design solutions from early exploration through detailed execution.
- Partner with UX research and data teams to ground design decisions in user behaviors and needs.
- Contribute to information architecture and influence design best practices.
- Participate in team crits and provide constructive feedback.
- Actively build and apply AI fluency to design workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering to translate creative direction into user-centered solutions.
- Lead component spec and token definition work for the design system.
- Identify system gaps and define patterns for scalability.
- Partner with front-end engineers to ensure design spec reliability.
