Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time owning or evolving a design system
- Deep familiarity with platform conventions across iOS, Android, and web
- High craft bar for visual design and component work
- Expert-level Figma skills (component architecture, variables, tokens, auto-layout)
- Familiarity with Storybook, design tokens, and GitHub
- Strong written communication skills
- Active interest in design systems in AI-driven product development
- Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG AA)
Responsibilities
- Own the patterns, flows, and component compositions that power product experiences across iOS, Android, and web
- Design and ship reusable components with a high bar for craft
- Define and maintain platform-native interaction patterns
- Evolve Thumbprint design system over time
- Create clear, opinionated documentation and usage guidance
- Enable teams to adopt and extend the design system
- Collaborate with technical partners on AI-driven workflows
- Work with Engineering partners to ensure parity between design and coded implementation
- Contribute to the naming, taxonomy, and structure of the system
