Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a SaaS selling environment.
  • Experience at an APM, Monitoring, or Log Management SaaS provider.
  • Record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience developing/managing full sales cycles to engineering teams.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with a champion to scope a POC.
  • Ability to build effective territory plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in negotiation, presentation, and closing.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate the Honeycomb product value proposition and ROI.
  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting within SMB and mid-market accounts.
  • Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with a technical audience.
  • Navigate from individual contributors to technical and business decision makers.
  • Develop expansion opportunities from existing customer base.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to navigate sales cycles.
  • Track opportunity details and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Build strategic territory and account plans.
  • Provide account leadership in pre and post-sales processes.
