Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience (Java/J2EE).
- 4+ years of hands-on Liferay DXP development experience (7.3/7.4).
- Deep expertise in Liferay Web Content Management, Structures, Templates, and Fragments.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and JavaScript (ES6).
- Experience with FreeMarker for dynamic templating.
- Knowledge of Liferay Administration (Control Panel, Permissions, Page Templates).
- Basic SQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB).
- Arabic and English proficiency (C1/C2/B2 level).
- Ability to implement accessibility features based on Dubai digital authority standards.
Responsibilities
- Design the portal for zero-code content management through Liferay's UI.
- Configure Content Pages and Widget Pages for drag-and-drop component usage.
- Implement granular, role-based access for content editors and admins.
- Create custom Web Content Structures and display templates for dynamic content.
- Build a library of reusable Liferay Fragments with configurable properties.
- Manage dynamic navigation, footers, and site hierarchies via UI.
- Configure Kaleo Workflow for content approval and scheduling processes.
- Install and configure Liferay DXP (7.4+) with site initializers and client extensions.
- Develop fragments using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and FreeMarker.
