Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Experience navigating and debugging large code bases.
- Experience providing feedback through code reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints.
- Partner on decisions considering risks and trade-offs.
- Support operations and availability through metrics and monitoring.
- Participate in "keep the lights on" and on-call efforts.
- Engage in team growth and development activities such as interviews.
