Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a relevant medical, engineering or science discipline and 15 years of experience
- Master of Science degree and 10 years of program management experience
- 5 years VA program management experience and 10 years total experience
- Expertise in VHA capital and project management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Contractor’s lead for each assigned program area in the HEFP portfolio.
- Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, and review work discrepancies.
- Supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals.
- Support on-boarding of contract staff.
- Liaise with COR, technical representative, and CO regarding contract issues.
- Lead senior management briefings as a recognized expert in VHA capital and/or project management.
- Coordinate identification of risk and variance for assessment, delegation, and resolution.
- Track and manage project execution, milestones, and task completion.
- Oversee contract performance and identify program improvement opportunities.
