Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field with at least 4 years experience, or Master's with at least 2 years.
  • Experience applying machine learning techniques (imitation learning, reinforcement learning, sequence modeling) to robotics or autonomous systems.
  • Robust programming skills in Python and PyTorch.
  • Experience with production-quality ML coding.
  • Experience training and evaluating models using large datasets and adaptive compute environments.
  • Understanding of ML architectures in autonomous driving (transformers, graph neural networks, sequence models).
  • Experience in model behavior debugging and performance metric analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and train machine learning models for acquired behavior systems, including imitation learning and reinforcement learning.
  • Implement production-quality ML code for training, evaluation, and inference.
  • Analyze model performance, identify failure modes, and propose improvements.
  • Contribute to model training pipelines and data workflows, organizing datasets from simulation and vehicle logs.
  • Collaborate with simulation and autonomy teams to test models across various environments.
  • Assist in integrating models into simulation workflows.
  • Support the development of tools and infrastructure to improve experimentation speed.
  • Contribute to technical discussions regarding model architectures and training strategies.
