Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with significant time in architecture or technical leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules.
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model, scripting, scoped apps, and platform internals.
  • Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub and REST APIs.
  • Experience designing CMDB, discovery, and service mapping implementations.
  • Strong understanding of platform security, ACLs, and role design at scale.
  • Experience leading major upgrades and release planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ServiceNow CTA, CIS, or CSA certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Define ServiceNow platform architecture spanning ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and custom application domains.
  • Lead architecture reviews, design approvals, and governance for changes across ServiceNow modules.
  • Establish standards for data model usage, custom-table creation, scoped applications, and CMDB design.
  • Drive CMDB strategy including discovery, service mapping, identification rules, and data quality programs.
  • Architect integrations with enterprise systems via IntegrationHub, MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven patterns.
  • Design platform-wide security, role models, and ACL strategies.
  • Lead major platform upgrades, release management cycles, and platform health initiatives.
  • Establish reusable patterns for workflow design and Flow Designer adoption.
  • Drive performance, scalability, and instance-health improvements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate process needs into ServiceNow capabilities.
