Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience
- 3+ years owning a cloud infrastructure, platform, or networking product
- Deep fluency in cloud networking concepts (PrivateLink, VNet peering, Transit Gateway, etc.)
- Experience serving enterprise customers with complex requirements
- Proven ability to partner with engineering leadership on architectural direction
- Strong analytical foundation for business cases and unit economics
- Experience using AI tools as a product management thought partner
- Experience developing and mentoring other PMs
Responsibilities
- Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Define frameworks and standards for networking decisions
- Drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership
- Expand scope and identify adjacencies like network observability and cost transparency
- Develop the product team and mentor Senior PMs
- Build senior stakeholder alignment across product, engineering, and sales
- Define and own success metrics at the platform level
- Engage directly with strategic enterprise customers and prospects
