Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven track record in scientific instrumentation sales within academic and industrial markets.
  • Minimum 7 years of sales management experience, including international and channel partner management.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, forecasting abilities, and strategic sales planning expertise.
  • Experience in Atomic Force Microscopy, surface profiling, metrology, or materials testing instrumentation is highly valued.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 70%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage regional sales teams, sales applications staff, channel partners, and operational support teams across EMEA and LATAM.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global business objectives.
  • Drive quarterly and annual sales performance through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with business units and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and optimize sales performance through KPI tracking, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide executive leadership with regular reporting and competitive analysis.
  • Support organizational design improvements and sales process optimization.
